Renowned British weekly magazine The Observer included and Motovun in Istria in this year’s list of top destinations and it especially emphasized the Motovun Film Festival.
By their words Motovun is extremely attractive as a destination primarily because of its location, and if you do not know the town is situated at the top of the hill and you have to take the famous stairs to reach it. As for the festival, it should be noted that the projections are held outdoors and special atmosphere of this small town makes them very attractive.
This is another praise of Motovun, which was praised by the famous The Guardian newspapers in 2007.
